I'm selling mine. Reason for selling: I'm a lefty. It's better suited for right-handed people. That's the only reason I'm selling it. It's been very well taken care of--it always sits on my lap unless I'm doing the driving. And I don't just leave it on top of just any surface. (Yes, OC-OC nga siguro ako. Hehe. Kulang na lang alcoholan ko sya or paliguan.)

SOLD as of November 12, 2008.

my cousin's hubby bought mine in japan e. ang dami mo na sigurong gears . . . :D

di naman, im using 2 pelican 1510's talaga, these can hold all of my gears...and i already sold my tamrac pro12 to a friend. That can hold 2 dslrs and several lenses. Pero gusto ko ung idea ng lowepro 300, galing nung islide mo lang from back to front. Ofcourse di kasya lahat ng gears ko, pero just for projects that dont need a lot of equipment e very versatile sya. also may weather proof pa. galing.

yup. i like the lowepro bag, too. especially the AW. my right shoulder won't cooperate lang talaga. :D

di ba you're a wedding photographer? ano bang "required" tools of the trade sa field mo?

nung nagstart ako ang gamit ko lang is d70 and 1 sb600. yan lang. eto ung link ng mga old works ko using that cam "www.photonski.com/paulvincent". But for late 2006 meron na akong d200 nun. I think late 2005-2006 yung mga nakpost dun. You can check them out so youll able to see how I use the d70's capability then. Each camera has their own pros and cons e. Now I use a lot of lightings for my wedding and 4 dslr's and 7 different lenses. This is to give me edge and can also help me to capture the images i want that i cannot do before. Having good equipment helps but doesnt mean it will make you a good photographer. Thats why i want you to see my works before i got my equipments now.

wow. nasa intro page pa lang ako, i'm liking it na. i particularly admire your panning shot. cool. i have yet to do a decent panning shot. :D

and you're right. the gears help. but they don't make one a photographer. our instructors at FPPF have emphasized on that over and over and over and over again. :D

what exactly do i have to know and what gears do i need to have if i'd like to tag along with wedding photographers such as you? :D

dslrs with good low light capacity would be very good, fast lenses also is essential, and a speed light. That is what you should have for a "pro amateur photographer" and if you have the budget for it. Beginners/amateur, well, do with what you have. Explore your cameras limits to the fullest.

Prepare your mind and body also before going to battle. Each sectors of photography have different discipline. Weddings are so fast paced you need to be alert most of the time (similar to photojourn). You also need to be creative and innovative (similar to advertising photogs). You also need to be patient and uderstanding (similar to landscape photogs). When you learn all of this then you will be one step closer to be a good photog. Mastering each discipline takes a long time, you will need to enter each type of photography para ma-master. Like me i cant master landscape photography coz i dont have that much patience. Though im really trying hard to be patient enough. To each is own, kung san category of photography youll be comfortable with.

thanks for sharing. my mind will now chew and digest. :D

hmm. photography seems even more complicated than business management stuff a.

i have yet to explore each field and find which one i truly fancy. though at the moment, nasa learning stage pa lang ako. i know, i know. you should never stop learning. i mean, as in learning pa lang talaga. wala pa sa super advanced level. baka slightly more advanced than the basic level pa lang.

anyway, mentors are welcome . . . specially those whose work i admire. like yours. (hint, hint, hint. hehe.)
